Sunday, August 24, 5:30-7:30 p.m. PST
I will read as one of several authors at the book launch of Surrounded by Weasels by Tess Gallagher and Josey Gray, and the Cirque Journal #29, at the Port Angeles Fine Arts Center! Although I am not a contributor, I’ve been invited to read nonetheless, and am honored and excited.
Honorable Mention
MoonPath Press awarded me an Honorable Mention for my submitted full-length manuscript – such an honor from this press of impressive books by talented authors. As I am submitting this book blindly to other presses, I will not cite my title here. Here is a link to the winner of this year’s Sally Albiso Award, finalists, and honorable mentions.
Save the Date: Dec. 6, 2:30-4:30 p.m.
Saturday, December 6, 2:30-4:30 p.m. Author Linda B. Myers and I will throw a Presales Book Party and Poetry Reading at the Dungeness River Nature Center in Sequim, Washington. We both have books being published by Finishing Line Press in the same timing. This is no coincidence, we feel, and we are collaborating for appearances for our presales periods (November 24, 2025-January 2026) and for our book launches spring, 2026.
Reading along with us this celebratory afternoon will be poets who’ve endorsed our books. So far the reading roster includes Alice Derry, Risa Denenberg, Holly J. Hughes, Linda B. Myers, and myself. This may expand as we receive word from our other endorsers. There will be holiday cookies, of course, and instructions on how to access our books for presales order, of course.
