Come to the Gentle House at 1215 W. 11th St., Port Angeles, WA 98362, for a wonderful evening of poetry readings by Laura E. Garrard and Linda B. Myers and from their new chapbooks with Finishing Line Press: Paddling the Sweet Spot Between Life and Death and Load-Bearing Walls, respectively.

They will provide a craft talk about “Writing About the Highly Personal,” share works by well-known poets, and lead you in a prompt about the topic most poignant in your life.

There will be an Open Mic of 3-minute readings or less.
